a serene retreat with delightful ramen bar and attentive staff
The private onsen on the balcony was a dream, and the complimentary evening ramen was the cherry on top! Absolutely felt pampered throughout our stay.

The private open-air bath on the balcony offered a serene experience, but the steep walk from the station was challenging with luggage.

private outdoor bath, spacious room, beautiful Japanese decor
The path from the station felt like Mount Everest with heavy luggage!!! A better explanation for the food options ahead of time would really help!!! Uncomfortably steep hills made navigating quite challenging!!! There could be more attention to menu customizations to cater to dietary restrictions!!!

We loved the private onsen in our room and the spacious setup. Breakfast and dinner were very nice-definitely more than enough food! The staff were super helpful and kind. The free snacks and drinks. Can't recommend this place enough! 🌟

missingWrote a review on Nov 14bland foodsteep hike
the food presentation was stunning, but honestly, who wants bland meals? !. And don’t get me started on the steep hike. I expected a luxury shuttle instead of a stairmaster challenge. a complimentary room upgrade woudl ve been nice, but guess that’s just too much to ask here. almost thought of giving a decent review, but just couldn’t.

A combination of hits and misses
The tranquility of the private onsens was the highlight, offering relaxation without crowds. Their attentive service was impressive, making each meal tailored to preferences, even accommodating for dietary needs.
The location requires a steep walk, which can be challenging after a long day. Although I enjoyed the ambiance, the food lacked variety, leaving some meals less satisfying than expected.
